I would like to see the old growth pine forests surrounding the Rushton Lake Provincial Park incorporated into the Park. The surrounding area has been heavily logged and incorporating the old growth forest would provide an excellent range of habitats. In addition this area is seeing increased recreational use which would be seriously impinged should these old growth pine forests not be protected.
