Our conservations are all important individually, as each individual conservation expert who work in one of the 37 conservations know these habitats and waterways like the back of their own hand. To have them transformed into 7 regional conservative authorities would create weaker knowledge of the individual areas, undermine flood protection, environmental monitoring, and science-based work that each community relies on. It would also slow the process of permits that would hinder the development of new housing and buildings. Having distant regional offices in charge of these conservations without have the specific knowledge of each individual area is detrimental. Please keep it as the 37 conservations and not 7 big ones. Life in Canada is complicated enough right now, this would just be a horrible mistake to make and that should not be made!
