I live in Grey Sauble and my conservation team works tremendously hard. They listen to our feedback and take the responsibility of managing our watershed seriously. They are absolutely fantastic with support and annual tree sales in the spring. I have purchased trees from the conservation authority for 5 years straight and take my children to our local conservation areas. The strong local presence will be gone by combining conservation bodies and since natural resources are such a huge part of this region it would be a tremendous loss for all of us. Abandon this amalgamation plan - it’s a terrible idea proposed by a bureaucrat who doesn’t have to live with the results of this decision.
