I oppose the proposed changes to the conservation authorities. The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority (LRCA) should not be amalgamated with conservation authorities around Lake Huron area. The LRCA provides vital conservation programming and planning to the Thunder Bay area with localized knowledge and support from the communities it serves. Even though we are in Ontario, the Thunder Bay and north shore of Superior area is vastly different in geography and climatic conditions. Leave the LRCA as its own conservation authority!
