To whom it may concern,
I do not agree with the new RCA proposal.
After reading through the proposal, I have very simple and logical concerns.
1) If some conservation authorities manage better than others, the provincial government should not be intervening with those that are being run smoothly and effectively. The government should better support and guide the conservations that need to enhance their functioning by using the "better one" as good exemples.
2) This proposal is simply taking power away from the people who live on these lands. I am confused how decision makers ignore history. Have we not learned the importance of respecting those who call these regions home. I believe every conservation is guided by people who care about the environment, not money, contrary to most politicians.
3) The cost along with the loss of jobs that this restructuring would ensue is unnecessary. Lets better support Ontarians. Spending our tax money and cutting our jobs are not what Ontario needs.
Please allow each conservation authority to have their own voice heard and respected.
Thank you for your time in reading my concerns.
