I have had several interactions with Conservation Authorities around the province and I know first hand the important work they do to protect people and the environment. In an increasingly unpredictable future, their region-specific services and knowledge are needed now more than ever. As a citizen who loves this province and its values I cannot accept the proposal of consolidation. My school-aged children understand the integral role CA’s play in keeping communities safe. I hope that our elected officials do as well. Please say no to dismantling and crippling the Conservation Authorities.
