I write to voice my support for the public statement provided by the Hamilton Conservation Authority in opposition to the proposed merger of conservation authorities.

I have strong concerns about the loss of local representation, and as a resident of a community adjacent to a conservation area feel local voices are critical to the work that is successfully completed by my local conservation authority.
