This proposal is extremely dangerous to the health and well being of the conservation areas that each region is responsible for. Each region is a professional in knowing how to best preserve, protect and maintain the conservation areas. Provincial government wants to remove local authority and take control. All in the name of obtaining land for future development and housing. Our conservation areas must remain in local protective hands. Our health literally depends of preserving greenlands for generations and decades to come. Once they are gone there is no going back. So hands off our locally protected conservation areas. Start investing in health, safety and well being. Our provincial government is turning Ontario in the wrong direction.
