I am very concerned about the proposal to reduce 36 conservation authorities to just seven. A Conservation Authority needs to be local in order to make educated and appropriate local decisions. Furthermore I'm very concerned about the fact that the conservation authorities have much of their power taken away by the Ford government and wetlands have been under attack.
