As a Hamilton resident, I do not support this merger proposal. I am an avid user of these trail systems and appreciate the stewardship and advocacy done by our local conservation authority. This mirrors the conservative approach to government, merge to cut costs and then reduce service. These systems are important to the health of this region and I support the Hamilton Conservation Authority's Board of Directors in their position.
