I am against the proposal of…

I am against the proposal of merging all the conservation areas here in Ontario to just 7. I am concerned that it'll take away local autonomy from conservation groups, farmers and local residents who know intimately about the area. Placing 100's of CA into the hands of a few people and will be detrimental to and have extreme environmental impacts that we cannot afford at a time when the environment concerns and issues seems to get overprowered by economic gains of development. I believe that this policy change and border merging will lessen what environmental advice that the local conservations have had over development.
The successes that have made over the last few decades to water eco systems have been because CA can act locally. I strongly urge that this proposal not be given any more ground and be retracted, thank you.
