I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. We need local experts who understand the area ecology and history - and who are responsive to local feedback. Proposed changes appear intended simply to deprioritize and remove environmental review.
A government has an special responsibility to avoid the appearance of impropriety. This isn't it.
