I agree with Hamilton…

I agree with Hamilton Conservation Area’s submission to the ERO.

I do not believe that the province of Ontario has provided evidence to support the amalgamation. Furthermore I doubt the intentions of the province when it comes to protecting the environment, given Doug Ford's Conservative government ties to the development industry.

I am also concerned about losing local decision-making given that local Conservation Authorities fund the bulk of the work. I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community.
