The cost savings cannot justify merging two such large and separate areas. I am tired of this government's clueless and reckless actions around conservation. We need to weigh the losses that come with poor environmental management against reducing debt. Who wants to live in a province that keeps eroding this foundation. Ontario is a huge landmass with numerous eco regions. It simply cannot be amalgamated.
