As a resident of Burlington, Ontario, I am deeply concerned about this proposal and strongly disagree with it. Environmental protections and conservation work are vital. Strong local decision making and watershed work is necessary to maintain our environment and mitigate negative impacts. Without this important work, we are all at risk. The evidence provided by the government for this merger is lacking.

I support the Hamilton Conservation Authority's submission to the ERO. I strongly support keeping environmental decision-making local to communities.
