More centralized government control does not work. The oversight for this important resource and its management should not be centralized. Although the number and size of authorities is cumbersome and inefficient as it is, the last thing needed is provincial oversight by politicians who have no understanding of the issue(s) or the community or geographic areas involved. First let’s look at other less invasive ideas from people who actually know.
No our natural resources of this nature should never be centralized.
