I have carefully read Hamilton Conservation Authority’s submission to the ERO and I strongly agree. These 3 points in particular are most concerning:

i. The Province has not provided evidence showing why the merger is needed.
ii. I think that strong conservation depends on local relationships.
iii. Key details remain unknown.

Generally, I am very suspicious about the true rationale for the proposed changes and am worried that they intend to weaken conservation!
