I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. My not-for-profit workplace, adjacent to conservation lands, has cultivated a meaningful and trusting working relationship with the HCA. To eliminate decision making at the local level would be deeply damaging to community focused organizations such as ours. I am deeply concerned about the lack of transparency related to the funding of the proposed merger and I strongly support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community.
