I agree with HCA’s…

I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. I am concerned about losing local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community.

Every time the province tries to amalgamate local authorities or schools or health systems, we risk losing our community - our voice, our strength, our connections, our common goals and our shared understanding of the region and local spaces that we live and thrive in. I don't see any benefit to this proposed amalgamation of the HCA and I do not agree nor support this. The people who know best about their needs are the local communities and agencies and those who live in the areas they serve. I fully support keeping the local HCA.
