The lands under review (mostly the Greenbelt) are there to protect our environmental future. This includes the future of our water and food supplies. They are needed for the well-being of all citizens.
We do not need more land for industry: this is already available through other means in exisitng municipalities. And it exists for residential and commercial (which is outside the stated scope of this legislation).
Plus, industry has the potential to be the worst, and most, polluting vehicle in our society. While industry is often quite responsible, it can lead to significant deterioration of the environment.
No amount of precaution is sufficient to protect what we need to save for our future generations.
Please abandon this Schedule.
