As a S-4 Sewer plant operator for 26 years I must tell you wastewater effluent into the Goulais River will eventually kill the Brook trout population. No matter how many millions they are willing to spend on a state of the art treatment plant, no matter how many stages of treatment, Filters, and UV disinfection. No matter how much they spend on certified full time operators, no matter how much they spend on Maintenance , let alone the cost of electricity. A large KW backup generator with plenty, and then some fuel. The Brook Trout are the first to go, nutrients in the river will only get worse over time. It will never be the same. I am lucky enough to have a friend who is local to the River and have had the pleasure of Fishing it with him. It is truly Blue Ribbon Water, please don't allow discharge in to these waters.
