So many people rely on the Goulais river for water and for fish, including wildlife; it is a very important water way and us locals do not want a water treatment plant flowing into it for an american company to profit. Please do not allow this to happen.

I came to understand from the presentation at the Searchmont community center that a lot of the safety measures for this waste water facility would be left to the ski resort to create and implement. I have first hand experience with the ski hills lack of regard for safety.

Any system that requires this level of regulation and regular monitoring because of the potential risk(s) should NOT even be considered when it's being done for the sole sake of expanding a business built for profit. An American business at that.

Kersin Engineering and Searchmont Ski Resort have failed to address very straight forward, very valid questions and concerns around the risks and impacts of depositing waste water into the Goulais River.

This project should not be allowed to proceed. Water safety should always come first. There are many people who live on the goulais and use it for water sports and swimming. We shouldn’t have to worry about what is being leeched into it from wastewater from a huge business.
This is a horrible plan, and will greatly affect the ecosystem of the Goulais River, which many locals swim and fish out of, regardless of what your printouts and studies show.

This is not for us. We don't want it. Minimal untreated sewage that may squeak through is too much. Treated or not, this material does not belong in our river
We the people of Searchmont, Goulais River and other surrounding areas, are not against the successes of the Searchmont Ski Resort, however we believe it to be disgusting, gross and unnecessary that the Ski hill should be allowed to dump their waste water, in ANY condition into the river.

This is a horrible idea to run off their waste ans sewage into the goulais river. I live on the river and the idea of chemically treated or not chemically treated sewage being dumped into my drinking water supply is dispicable.

The Goulais River is our main watershed for the area and people have wells close to it, fish, and swim in it. It is an important aquatic habitat for many animals and possible contaminants would have a disastrous domino effect from fish to eagles.

The river is the heart of the community and used by many families for different activities. Dumping treated sewage not only hurts the delicate balance of the ecosystem but deters families from using the water they fought so hard to live on.

Being a resident of Goulais River, I fully support local businesses such as Searchmont Resort but if it endangers our Goulais River in any way, I am totally opposed to upgrades. We must protect our local waterways and fish.
Why should locals have to swim/drink (shore wells) in tourists sewage that’s coming from that resort. Filtered or not it’s disgusting and inhumane, look at St. Julian wastewater plant in London Ontario, It Contaminated the ground!! can you imagine what that’s doing too our river.
