the Goulais River is important inflow to Goulais Bay - it is a shallow meandering river, not one with all-year high flows. this proposal could be significant considering the winter (frozen) and mid-summer (low flow) which will reduce assimilative capacity.

For example, Sault Ste. Maire Michigan just over-flowed its treatment system because of a winter rain event.

MECP should require exemplary plant design with ample room to handle waste-water on-site, without depending on the river to handle the load.
