As someone who travels from southern Ontario to fish brook trout on the Goulais River I find this proposal very worrying. In no way should the treated wastewater be dumped back into the river. It should go to a holding pond/leaching bed and they can use it for snow making. You want to operate a ski facility then do it in a way that is friendly to the environmental that belongs to all of Ontario and the Great Lakes watershed. Shorts cuts and saving money are not the way for a good corporate citizen to act. Make them spend the money to do it right. They can pass the cost onto their users.
