Is private property Ceded Land? If so then how can a Native Land claim for a archaeological dig be valid. More over who ever is claiming interest should also pay for what ever kind of assessment that is being done. The land has been granted in Fee Simple and the Crown has no interest in the land unless it has been reserved when granted. My fear now is that vacant land is now worthless because a study of this weight will cost more than the land is worth. These costs will be passed on to the eventual owner. These costs will prevent people from finding affordable housing.
