I am very much against this legislation because it removed the ability for municipalities to have green standards. This bill won't help build things any faster, but will result in substandard construction that has detrimental environmental impacts. For example, many cities are choosing to require bird friendly design to reduce the millions of deaths caused by collisions. This is an incredibly important requirement, and this bill will reduce the ability of cities to require it.
