This proposal is not required and undermines the land use planning process. If Official Plans and Zoning By-Laws are up to date as required by the Province and adequate employment are identified as required by the Province currently, why this this required? The answer is it is not required.

Municipalities undertake long range planning for land use and capital projects that relates to servicing for development of all types. Why would they abort this to spend who knows how much time and money to to direct development to some place it was never intended and contrary to their own planning documents.

I do not support this and would request that my elected government would not proceed with this initiative.
