I am along time resident…

   I am along time resident of Caledon and have paid close attention to the establishment of the Greebelt since its inception. I have attended a recent public presentation related to  he current expansion study process. As president of the Humber Valley Trail Association and long time hiker I am intimately involved with the Oak Ridges Moraine. As a trained geographer I feel strongly about protecting our natural water supply and aquifers from the pressures of Urbanization. Indeed, it is these very pressures which in the future will make the protection  of our water supply all the more critical. Please extend the Greenbelt to the maximum extent possible to protect  OUR water.
