It is simply wrong to gut existing protections for the Green Belt and Sourcewater Protection Acts under the guise of opening Ontario up for Business. there is no value in allowing exemptions for industry from protecting groundwater. Premier Ford you ran on a campaign to reduce government costs. Over the years millions of public dollars have been spent to clean up the contaminated sites left behind by polluting industries and mines. this includes health care dollars for injured workers impacted by industrial accidents and pollutions.
