I would like to make comments on the proposed changes to Zone 11 regulations.

Lake Trout

Instead of reducing the fall season by 4 weeks I think removing the present 3 week winter fishing would have a greater impact on increasing Lake Trout numbers.

Brook Trout

I think there should be no winter fishing on natural reproducing lakes.

There should be baitfish bans on all brook trout lakes, not just those with natural reproduction. A lake that is suitable for stocking often becomes unfishable if taken over by perch or rock bass.

On additional opportunity lakes there should be no size limit, or the number allowed over 31cm increased . Often on these lakes all the fish in them will either be over 31cm or too small to consider keeping. By imposing a size limit you are effectively also establishing a catch limit of 1.
