I would like to express my disagreement with the further expansion of nuclear energy in Ontario. It is only a matter of time before fallible human beings make a terrible mistake in the storage of nuclear waste. This danger is too great. Our best course of action is to reduce the use of electricity, for instance, reduce air conditioning except for the ill or those who need it to survive. The rest of us should just bear the heat as did our ancestors. It seems to me those pushing for more nuclear energy always begin by saying that demand will increase, but it does not have to increase.
