Re: Official Plan Amendment 405 (Midtown in Focus Plan) To: The Minister of Municipal Affairs Please approve OPA 405 (Midtown in Focus Plan). I have lived in Midtown Toronto since 1980 and have seen first hand the growth in population and it's effect on transit and the community. There are so many tall condos being built in this area and as a result whole blocks of independent stores have been torn down. We need to ensure that we can continue to enjoy our neighbourhoods by taking the following steps: - add transit improvements to the Yonge corridor - provide green space and community space - include hard infrastructure to support the increased population - expand social support services which are so important and which your government is cutting in the name of cost savings Thank you for your attention.
