I think it's so important to have a wholistic urban planning approach. It shows that condo buildings are each being approved separately -there are so many popping up at the same time making the downtown core more dense than it already is and it's concerning as there is no added infrastructure to support the increased population. i.e. no added schools or transportation services. What's even worse is the destruction of the old architecture - Toronto is losing so much of it's character by losing these buildings and replacing them with giant glass towers that pretty much all look the same...
