Sounds as if the whole purpose is to make it easier for business & your government to get what it wants without protecting the environment.

Farmers & forestry operations are already exempted for many activities. This should not continue.

Sounds as if you want to make a determination before the assessment whether there will be negative affects in order to see if there should be an assessment. This should not happen.

I agree with streamlining but I think your government is using this as a camouflage for elimination of assessments.

Your proposal is too general to be able to make specific comments as you hide your proposed changes behind nice-sounding words like streamline, modernize, update, efficiency.
