This comment is submitted of FIPPA specifically provides that personal information “does not include the name, title, contact information or designation of an individual that identifies the individual in a business, professional or official capacity.”

However, given the sensitive nature of the pesticides issue in the eyes of the public, we are concerned that releasing the names of our members, and the address of the golf courses where they work will amount to the information becoming more about the members in their personal capacity, rather than just about an individual in a business, professional or official capacity.

We would therefore argue that the proposed amendment would constitute unjustified invasions of the personal privacy of our members, and would ask you to kindly reconsider the proposed amendments as they relate to this issue.
