As a resident of L'Orignal I oppose this request. The proposed plant is located very close to homes, farmland as well as the Ottawa River. The list of emissions are dangerous to humans and the environment. There is another heavy industry located 4kms away yet there us no standards for cumulative emissions. Heavy industry does not belong in an area zoned agricultural and rural. The community is opposed to this project because of the documented health risks linked to these emissions.
