This is a positive move. The 200 meter distance decision was done in haste and IMO was wrong. 30 meters is manageable and I can see a need to get the bait off any type of trail. Sitting close to a trail or on a trail is for lazy hunters .... 30 meters should work out fine.
Kudos to the MNR if this correction is implemented!
