Good afternoon,
My name is Christal Huang and I am a Policy Analyst at AdvantAge Ontario. AdvantAge Ontario is the trusted voice for senior care. We are community-based, not-for-profit (NFP) organizations dedicated to supporting the best possible aging experience. We represent NFP, charitable, and municipal long term care (LTC) homes, seniors’ housing, and seniors’ community services. For 100 years, AdvantAge Ontario and our members have been building the future of senior care in Ontario.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback to the proposed amendments to the Development Charges Act, 1997. I have attached our formal response which outlines the seniors’ sector’s issues and concerns as well as our recommendations.
We look forward to continuing to be engaged in any further work on this issue.
