I am submitting my public comment regarding the proposal to allow bear baiting closer to right ways. I am opposed to this idea because I do not think that having bears baited near public buildings and road ways is safe for the citizens a hungry bear can pose a danger to people and humans can accidently scare a bear eating and end up getting hurt. I personally do not agree with baiting bears at all as I see that it is a lazy way to hunt. Luring animals to a certain location for easier killing is lazy and not true hunting. A true hunter will spend all day using their own senses. This proposal is not a good one for the bears or public. I oppose this proposal and I oppose the lazy hunting tactics of bear hunting. Do Not allow bear baiting near public right ways and stop baiting bears.
