I object! Bear bait sites…

I object! Bear bait sites should be moved farther away not closer! The wilderness of Ontario is used by many people, not just hunters and I do not appreciate the garbage/junk left by bear baiters. Bears are not potentially dangerous but by closing the gap between bears and humans with this proposal does not protect humans or bears. Hiking and recreating near bear hunting activity only increases the likelihood of negative human-wildlife interactions. Ontario, please do not allow this change to take place. For the people of Ontario and for the bears of Ontario, do not decrease the minimum distance for bear hunting/baiting.
