I am in full support of the Flag Resources (1985) Limited mineral exploration permit in Mackelcan Township. It is important that this permit is granted without any delays. Also, the permit must not have any unreasonable terms or conditions attached.
Prospecting and exploration must be allowed to continue on existing mining claims and leases in Forest Reserves provided the obligations of the Mining Act are met. Exploration has been conducted previously in this and similar locations and no lasting environmental impacts are created by this type of low impact activity.
Either Ontario is a mining jurisdiction or it is not, and we make it all into a park. Then we can let the recreational industries support all the unemployed people put in welfare or just move into slums in the cities and let the government take care of everyone
