I am in full support of the Flag Resources (1985) Limited mineral exploration permit in Mackelcan Township. It is important that this permit is granted without any delays. Also, the permit must not have any unreasonable terms or conditions attached.

Prospecting and exploration must be allowed to continue on existing mining claims and leases in Forest Reserves provided the obligations of the Mining Act are met.

All previous park legislation (ie Living Legacy) was to appease the conscience of the rich people living in the concrete jungle of Toronto. These people do not make their living off the mining industry as many of us do who live in Sudbury. Do what's right for Northern Ontario not Southern Ontario.
