It’s great that the moratorium is being extended. However, as a resident of Centre Wellington there is no need for further work on your part. Our communities are at risk as far as provincially mandated growth vis-a-vis ground water supply. A permit to allow Nestlé to take up to 1.6 million liters a day would go against the provinces obligation to ensure a safe, sustainable supply of water. I’m not Nestlè I don’t lobby, I vote. Please do not give a permit to pump water for commercial purposes from the Middlebrook Well.
