1) The re-classification of the pesticides to alien with the Federal classification totally makes senses, less confusing , better for the industry and public
2) Over the years OPAC lost its vision and goal. Decisions making reading pesticides was not based on scientific facts but rather emotions and lobbyists ( I did witness it). So, it time to let it go.
3) The proposal to post signs to notify the public of pesticide use for land extermination for stinging animals, should apply only to public venues or community based venues if label requires it. This should not apply to private property or homes. Majority of wasp etc. control occur on private property where the public is not exposed at all. Posing such signs will result in pest control companies or public health departments getting complain or concerns calls all the time, false negative pesticide exposure complains on social media and mounting liabilities. Pest control companies will become target of unjustified harassment. Better to follow label requirements.
Thank you.
