There is no need to “streamline” water taking.
Regulations exist in order to *protect* our valuable water resources. Water taking always results in downstream consequences, so protection & regulation are necessary to ensure that water is available... always.... and consistently for plants, animals & humans.
Please continue to regulate water taking.
