A three year extension is a good sign there will be a negotiated settlement that is beneficial to all involved. The idea to extend the lease should be automatic when the existing lease runs out if an agreed up solution has not yet been achieved. This should not have to be negotiated when time runs out on the existing lease. I hope that a long term agreement is possible so that both cottagers and government officials can relax and enjoy the beauty of one of Ontario's Parks.
