Groundwater is a resource that belongs to all Canadians.

Corporations exist for one thing: profit. Sustainability is not a measure that they go by. Allowing corporations to take our water cannot result in anything beneficial to the people whose water is being taken - particularly at the prices that exist today.

Allowing corporations to take our groundwater for virtually nothing and then selling it back to us at ridiculous profit margins is unethical.

These corporations are also promoting plastic waste in the environment, which results in yet another thing that we as a people have to clean up after the fact - not the corporations - resulting in even more harm to the canadian people.

Please protect our resources! They belong to the Canadian people and not corporations.
