Good Morning: On behalf of my Golf Course I am in full support in eliminating the Public Meeting to present Annual Pesticide Usage. We have held meetings every year since inception of this requirement with ONLY the first year seeing a handful of attendees. WE hand delivered invitations to all residents within 500 metres of the golf course and posted ads in the local newspaper. This proved to be costly for the club with no benefit for anyone involved. As the Fully licensed pesticide applicator and IPM Agent for the golf club I submit all government requirements annually in the desk review and the on-course audit when applicable. We have successfully met all requirements when the MOE conducted a full audit of the golf course and continue to apply pesticides in an environmentally responsible manner at all times.
