Please protect our forests…

Please protect our forests. Please consider our methods to access more wood for your industry needs rather than opening up our protected forests to destruction just for a dollar value.
We have the oldest old growth red pine forest here , why would we destroy such reforestation land just for more acess to timber?
Are there not other methods that can be put into play rather than destroying what little ecosystems we have left.
Can we create new forest areas to be used for timber rather than destroying this one?
