I support the extension of the moratorium on water-taking permits. During this additional nine-month period, the Ministry should institute a ban on single-use plastic water bottles. Corporations, like Nestlé, should not be able to profit from our common, life-giving resource and contaminate our environment with impunity. How is our government acting for the benefit of all Ontarians by allowing this?
